In this performance the characters of the selected Shukshin’s stories sing, work, drink, dance, love, breathe and live under one sky on the main stage of the Theatre.

The core of the production is the picturesque images and incredible lives of the heroes of Shukshin's prose.  Spectators will see his famous eccentrics and philosophers, solid build peasants and sophisticated souls in one performance. The life of the Shukshin characters is simple and natural, filled with work and singing, love and laughter, joy and sadness. They know each other as they are all good and old friends. These are the people called the “salt of the earth”, they live every moment of their lives for real.
