The performance is dedicated to several generations of the native Petersburg intellectual family and their destinies.
This is the first production of Yulia Tupikina’s “Petersburg” in Russia. The play is full of sharp, ironic dialogues and profound monologues, vivid characters and vital emotions. As well as the amazing atmosphere of the city on the Neva, that became one of the key characters of the play itself. The corners of the city that are so dear to its citizens are embodied on the stage, and the numerous myths of this mystical city come to life, too.
